League for Animal Protection

The League for Animal Protection (LAP) is a non-profit, no-kill shelter in the Roanoke Valley.  LAP serves the counties of Botetourt, Roanoke (and Roanoke City), Pittsylvania, Bedford, Franklin, and Rockbridge. Our volunteers and supporters rescue abandoned dogs and cats and give them medical treatment, shelter, and care until they can find their forever homes.  LAP is funded by private donations, membership fees, and fundraising event.
