Blessing Bag Program

The Blessing Bag Program is a 501(c)3 local non-profit (EIN 82-2171108) that provides bags to homeless, senior citizens, families with small children and those in extreme poverty, we are making a difference in lives both locally and globally.

As a partner with the Blessing Bag Program, you ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE.

In 2018 you helped create 5,600+ bags from the 195 donations that allowed us to make bags for our area homeless.

Through our program, we helped 14 homeless men and women get jobs! Our bags helped to provide grooming needs for a job interview!

We helped 78+ (and counting) children in extreme poverty get Christmas gifts in 2018 in SWVA.

We provided 425+ bags to people in North Carolina and South Carolina, after damages from a hurricane last year.

We are supporting people in the Middle East and our full-time Humanitarian Aid, Phil from Roanoke is there on the ground helping with things such as medicine, heating oil, food and hygiene basics! These are people that literally have nothing in the world, the true least of these.

These are just a few real world examples of what people have used our bags.

What makes us different as a non-profit is that we provide hope in the form of a bag.

While many non-profits offer food, clothing, and shelter, we are providing additional support beyond the basics, things you and I take for every day.

As homeless individuals and families transition into those stable environment’s, we help by offering those small comforts that otherwise get overlooked.

We are asking that you help us grow by making a tax-deductible donation to our organization.
