For over thirty-five years, New Vision has promoted independence for people with visual impairments living in the Greater Roanoke Valley, where it is estimated that more than 1,000 of our neighbors are blind or visually impaired. We offer large-print calendars, audio access to newspapers and other printed materials, and access to our Assistive Technology Center, where individualized instruction in the use of computers, tablets, smart phones and other adaptive technologies is available.
These comprehensive services are unique in all of Southwest Virginia, and are provided free of charge. Therefore, support from the community is vital to achieving our mission of helping the blind connect to the world. We thank you for your generosity to New Vision, for without it there may be nowhere else for our clients to turn!
