ABOUT THE ROANOKE RAMPAGE FOOTBALL TEAM:
The Roanoke Rampage Fire and Police Football Team is made up of members from professional fire, rescue, police and public safety throughout Roanoke and the New River Valley. The Roanoke
Rampage was formed to raise money for local charities while playing competitive football in the National Public Safety Football League.
This year we will proudly support Bigs in Blue in Downtown Roanoke as our main local charitable cause. Bigs in Blue provides children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professional supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. The Roanoke Rampage will also donate to other charities throughout the year.
All Rampage players, coaches, and team assistants are strictly volunteers.
NATIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY FOOTBALL LEAGUE (NPSFL):
The NPSFL is a coalition of first responder, (Firemen, Policemen,
Emergency Medical Technicians, Military, Probation, and Corrections
Officers) that donate time, effort, and service to their respective
communities. Each team in the league earns money during their
season for a given local charity of their choice.
There are over 22 teams in the league across the country. Since its
inception, the NPSFL has donated more than $200,000 to various charities throughout the U.S.
